About RobuxToCAD

A Robux calculator built on the prices Roblox actually charges in each country, rather than a US price run through a currency converter. That one decision is the reason this site exists and the reason its numbers match your receipt.

What this site is for

Two questions, answered properly for 13 currencies. What do Robux cost to buy, and what are earned Robux worth if you cash them out. Those are different numbers at different rates, and confusing them is the most common mistake in this whole subject.

Every page gives both. Type an amount, switch between buy price and DevEx payout, and you have the two figures that matter. No account, no sign-up, and the maths runs in your browser rather than on a server.

Why we do not use an exchange rate

Almost every Robux calculator works the same way: take the US dollar price, apply today's exchange rate, show the result. It is the obvious approach and it is wrong.

Roblox does not convert. It sets a separate fixed price in every country, chosen independently, and those prices barely move. If they were converted from US dollars, the same 1,000 Robux would cost the same everywhere once you converted back. Here is what actually happens:

What 1,000 Robux costs in each country, converted back to US dollars
CountryLocal priceIn US dollars
SwitzerlandCHF 13.10$16.38
South AfricaR260.00$14.29
United Kingdom£11.20$14.18
Eurozone€12.50$13.59
United States$12.50$12.50
Australia$18.70$12.30
Canada$16.20$11.73
Japan¥1,525$10.17

A Swiss player pays 61 percent more than a Japanese player for identical Robux. No exchange rate produces that. It is Roblox pricing each market separately, and a calculator that applies live FX to the US price will be wrong in both directions, by different amounts, in every country except the United States.

The trade-off is honest: our numbers only change when we check and update them. There is no live feed. For a price that Roblox itself holds still for years, that is the right trade.

Where the numbers come from

Every figure on this site traces to one of these
FigureSourceHow often it changes
Robux bundle pricesThe Roblox web store in each countryRarely. Roblox reviews regional pricing periodically.
DevEx rateRoblox DevEx documentation and Help CenterOccasionally. It has moved more than once in recent years.
Premium bonusRoblox Premium documentationStable at 10 percent.
Marketplace feeRoblox creator documentationStable at 30 percent for years.
Sales tax by provinceCanada Revenue Agency and provincial finance ministriesOccasionally, with budgets.
Reference exchange ratesUsed only to estimate DevEx payouts in local currencyFixed figure, updated when we review prices.

The last row is worth reading twice. A real exchange rate appears in exactly one place on this site: DevEx pays creators in US dollars, so what lands in a local account depends on the rate your own bank applies that day. Our DevEx figures use a fixed reference rate to give you an approximate value. Your actual payout will differ, and any site quoting an exact local DevEx figure without saying that is hiding the part that varies.

How often we check, and how you can help

Prices are reviewed monthly and the month of the last review appears at the top of every calculator page. When Roblox changes a regional price it does so without announcing it, so there is always a window where a figure here is stale.

We cannot see the Roblox store as it appears in your country, which is the honest limitation of running this from one place. If a price on your page is wrong, a screenshot of the 400 Robux price on the Roblox web store in your country fixes the entire page, because every other figure is calculated from that one. The contact page explains what to send.

Corrections are the most useful message we get. They are read and acted on.

What this site will never do

Sell, trade or give away Robux. There is no generator here, no giveaway and no offer that asks anything of you. Every site promising free Robux is either farming your data or stealing your account, without exception.

Ask for your Roblox password. Roblox will never ask for it and neither will we. Nothing on this site requires you to log in anywhere.

Collect your data. No accounts, no forms, no analytics. The only thing stored is your light or dark theme choice, in your own browser. The privacy policy sets out exactly what that means.

Independence

RobuxToCAD is an independent site with no connection to Roblox Corporation. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them, and Roblox and Robux are their trademarks, used here only to describe what the calculators are for.

That independence cuts both ways. It means nothing here is filtered through what Roblox would prefer you knew, including the size of the gap between what Robux cost to buy and what they pay out. It also means we have no access to Roblox systems and cannot help with accounts, refunds or DevEx applications.

The site is funded by advertising. That pays for the domain and hosting and has no bearing on any figure published here, because the figures are Roblox's prices and we do not get to choose them.
