Roblox's Developer Exchange (DevEx) program pays creators in US dollars. The AUD values below are converted at 1 USD = 1.55 AUD. Two USD rates apply as of 2026.
Standard Rate
The standard DevEx rate is $0.0038 USD per earned Robux, in effect since September 5, 2025. At 1 USD = 1.55 AUD, that converts to roughly $0.005890 AUD per earned Robux. For a creator cashing out 100,000 earned Robux at the standard rate, that is approximately $589.00 AUD before applicable taxes.
US 18+ Rate
Since June 8, 2026, a higher rate of $0.0054 USD per earned Robux applies to Robux earned from age-verified 18+ players in the United States, in eligible R15 games. At 1.55 AUD, that is roughly $0.008370 AUD per earned Robux. Australian creators qualify for this rate on the portion of their earnings from qualifying US player spend. The payout blends both rates.

DevEx Requirements
To be eligible for DevEx, you need a minimum of 30,000 earned Robux, an account at least 13 years old, a verified email address, and an approved DevEx portal account. Only Robux earned through in-game sales, game passes, and developer products qualifies. Purchased Robux cannot be cashed out through DevEx under any circumstances.
