Official Roblox bundle prices in New Zealand

Roblox sells Robux in six fixed bundles, not by the unit, so you cannot buy exactly 1,000 Robux. The price per Robux falls as the bundle grows.

Roblox web store bundles priced in New Zealand dollars
BundlePricePer Robux
80 R$$1.69$0.0211
400 R$$8.39$0.0210
800 R$$16.79$0.0210
1,700 R$$33.59$0.0198
4,500 R$$83.99$0.0187
10,000 R$$167.99$0.0168

The 10,000 bundle costs $167.99 instead of $209.00. That is $41 less for the same Robux, a 20 percent saving against the standard rate. Buying inside the Roblox mobile app costs more again, because Apple and Google take a 30 percent commission that Roblox passes on. Buy through a browser or redeem a gift card.

Do New Zealanders pay more than Australians?

This is the comparison most people want, and the raw numbers are misleading. New Zealand pays $20.90 for 1,000 Robux while Australia pays $18.70, which looks like 12 percent more. But the two dollars are not worth the same, so that is not a fair comparison.

Converting both to US dollars gives the honest answer: New Zealand pays $12.59 and Australia pays $12.30. The real gap is about 2 percent, not 12.

What 1,000 Robux costs around the world, converted to US dollars

South AfricaR260.00$14.29
United Kingdom£11.20$14.18
Eurozone€12.50$13.59
New Zealand$20.90$12.59

Philippines₱720$12.41
Australia$18.70$12.30
Canada$16.20$11.73
Japan¥1,525$10.17

New Zealand sits in the middle, a little above the United States and well below the United Kingdom. Roblox prices by the region on your account, so you cannot buy at the Australian price by switching store.

These local prices are fixed. $8.39 for 400 Robux stays at that price whatever the exchange rate does, which is why a converter that applies a live rate to the US price will never match your receipt.

What earned Robux are worth in NZD

Buying Robux and cashing out Robux use two completely different rates. The Developer Exchange program pays $0.0038 US dollars per earned Robux, which is roughly $0.0063 NZD. That is about 30 percent of what the same Robux cost to buy, and the gap is how Roblox makes money.

What you need before you can cash out

You need a minimum of 30,000 earned Robux, worth about $189 NZD. You also need to be at least 13 years old, have a verified email address, hold an active Roblox Premium subscription and pass DevEx portal verification. Only Robux earned through creator activity such as game passes, developer products and in-experience sales qualify.

DevEx sends US dollars, so the New Zealand amount that reaches you depends on the rate your bank applies on the day. That is the one place where a real exchange rate affects your money.

Robux to NZD questions

How much is 1000 Robux in NZD?

1,000 Robux cost about $20.90 NZD on the Roblox web store. Roblox does not sell exactly 1,000 Robux, so the closest bundle is 1,700 Robux for $33.59 NZD. If you earned those 1,000 Robux and cash them out through DevEx, they are worth about $6.31 NZD.

How many Robux is 1 New Zealand dollar?

One New Zealand dollar buys about 48 Robux on the Roblox web store. With a Roblox Premium subscription the same dollar buys about 53 Robux, because Premium members receive a 10 percent bonus on Robux purchases.

How much is 10000 Robux in New Zealand dollars?

The 10,000 Robux bundle costs $167.99 NZD on the Roblox web store, which is about $0.0168 per Robux and the best value Roblox offers. At the standard rate the same 10,000 Robux would cost $209.00, so the bundle saves about $41. Earned and cashed out through DevEx, 10,000 Robux pay about $63.08 NZD.

Do New Zealanders pay more for Robux than Australians?

Barely. 1,000 Robux cost $20.90 NZD against $18.70 AUD, which looks like 12 percent more, but the two dollars are not worth the same. Once both are converted to US dollars, New Zealand pays $12.59 and Australia pays $12.30, a real difference of only about 2 percent.

Does the Robux price change with the New Zealand dollar exchange rate?

No. Roblox sets a fixed New Zealand dollar price for each bundle and it does not move with the NZD to USD exchange rate. The 400 Robux bundle stays at $8.39 NZD whatever currency markets do. Converters that apply a live exchange rate to the US price give the wrong answer.

How much does DevEx pay in New Zealand dollars?

DevEx pays $0.0038 US dollars per earned Robux, which is about $0.0063 NZD. The 30,000 Robux minimum cash-out is worth roughly $189, and 100,000 Robux pay about $631. That is around 30 percent of what the same Robux would cost to buy.

Can you convert Robux back into New Zealand dollars?

Only Robux you earned as a creator can be turned back into money, through the Developer Exchange program. You need at least 30,000 earned Robux, a verified email address and an active Roblox Premium subscription. DevEx pays in US dollars, so your bank applies its own rate when converting to New Zealand dollars. Robux you bought can never be cashed out.
